Install the Firefox extension

Requires Firefox 115 or newer on desktop or Android (Manifest V3). This installs the extension as a temporary add-on for testing.

  1. Download the Firefox extension (.zip)
  2. Unzip the downloaded file into a folder.
  3. In Firefox, go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.
  4. Click Load Temporary Add-on and select the unzipped honest-reporting-firefox/manifest.json.

A temporary add-on stays installed only for the current session. For a permanent install, the add-on must be signed by Mozilla (AMO) and installed as an .xpi.
